Production & Fulfillment Technician Specialist - Marine Systems
Annapolis,
MD,
United States
Hull Shield® is hiring a full-time, on-site Production & Fulfillment Technician in Annapolis, Maryland to assemble, test, package, ship, and track our marine electronics products. This hands-on role owns the workflow from components on the shelf to a tested, boxed package on the carrier’s truck, including electronics assembly, QC testing, shipping labels, warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and ERP work order and inventory updates.
We are looking for someone with strong mechanical and electronics aptitude, sharp attention to detail, warehouse and inventory experience, comfort with shipping software and ERP or inventory systems, and the reliability to manage the full workflow independently once trained.
Hull Shield designs and manufactures marine ultrasonic antifouling systems that help keep boat and vessel hulls clean while reducing reliance on traditional antifouling methods. Our products range from recreational units to yacht, commercial, and government-grade systems.
What you'll do
- Assembly
Assemble ultrasonic control units, transducer assemblies, cables, connectors, and related components from work orders and build instructions. Handle wiring, labeling, cabling, and mechanical assembly while keeping the build bench clean, organized, and safe. - Quality Control
Bench-test finished units against QC specifications before shipment. Document serial numbers, QC results, build status, defects, and recurring quality issues. - Packaging & Shipping
Package finished goods, accessories, manuals, and related materials so they are protected in transit. Process shipments, print labels, verify order accuracy, and maintain tracking records. - Warehouse & Inventory
Receive incoming materials, verify quantities against purchase orders, and stock components and finished goods. Keep the warehouse organized, run cycle counts, reconcile inventory, and flag reorder needs before materials run short. - ERP System
Process manufacturing orders, work orders, inventory moves, receipts, and finished goods in our ERP system. Keep inventory records accurate and use the ERP system as the source of truth for what we have, what we are building, and what has shipped.
